Welcome from Elm

Autumn Term 1

The children have settled in well and had a great start to the year.  We are looking forward to the autumn term 1 ahead.  We are learning to focus on our learning and to listen carefully to adults and our friends. We are working on respecting the personal space of others and at using our inside voices during learning.

Our topic for this term is Superheroes

We are very excited to introduce our new topic…

KERPOW! Intergalactic greetings, young heroes.  It is time to rescue the planet from evil villains!  Who is your favourite superhero? Spiderman? Wonder Woman? Maybe your heroes are ordinary people who have achieved great things.  Or is it those people who save lives in our emergency services that you admire the most? Superheroes have super senses.  Use yours to identify mystery items by their smell, taste, sound and touch.  What do true superheroes eat to keep their senses and special powers sharp?
Please excuse me… I have to save the world! ZAP! WHIZZ! ZOOOOOOOM!
